Beta programme terms.

Beta access lets selected users test unfinished Novak Tools software and help improve it. These terms explain what happens when a beta ends.

Registration and admission

Joining a beta list does not guarantee access. Invitations may be limited by SketchUp version, operating system, workflow or testing capacity. Each invitation identifies the product, build and access period.

Time-limited access

Beta builds and beta licence keys are temporary. The end date is stated in the invitation or licence. When access expires, beta-only or PRO functions may lock and the beta build may stop receiving updates. For SwitchBuilder, assemblies already placed in a model remain as SketchUp geometry; Free features remain available after installing the current Free edition.

Ending or changing a beta

Novak Tools may change, pause or end a beta when testing is complete. Where practical, participants will receive at least seven days’ notice before a planned closure. Access may be ended immediately for security, misuse, licence sharing, legal reasons or a risk to users or their data. Disabling registration closes admission for new testers; existing access ends on its stated expiry unless an earlier notice is required.

Unfinished software and backups

Beta software may contain defects, incomplete features or compatibility problems. Do not rely on it as the only copy of production work. Save a backup of your SketchUp model before installation, upgrades and bulk operations. Beta software is provided without a promise that every feature will appear in the commercial release.

Feedback and confidentiality

You may send feedback, screenshots and minimal test files that you are entitled to share. Do not send confidential client models, passwords or full licence keys. Unless an invitation expressly says otherwise, the beta is not confidential. You allow Novak Tools to use submitted feedback to improve and market its products without identifying you.

Communications and privacy

Beta emails cover access, testing, important changes and the relevant product launch. You can unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time, although essential messages about an active beta may still be sent. See the privacy notice.

Leaving the beta

You can leave at any time by uninstalling the beta build, returning to the Free edition and unsubscribing from emails. You may also request deletion of your beta-list data by emailing novak.marek.93@gmail.com.

These beta terms supplement the software licence terms. If an invitation contains more specific terms, those specific terms govern that beta.
